Wales
Wales is in the north – west Europe and it is part of Great Britain. The name “Wales” comes from the Cymraeg word Gwalia, meaning in English “Homeland”.
Technically, Wales is a principality and it is ruled by a prince. Traditionally the Prince of Wales is the eldest son of the English monarch.
The scenery in Wales is gorgeous, as Mother Nature was very generous. There are many castles and the sea seems to embrace the mountains.
The capital of Wales is Cardiff. Other cities are Swansea and Newport.
The national sport of Wales is rugby.
